
Graduation ceremony for 500 male and female lawyers in the center’s training courses and honoring the symbols of the legal profession and justice in Egypt
The Arab Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal Profession organized at 6:00 pm on Thursday 29/5/2003 at the headquarters of the Journalists Syndicate, a celebration to conclude the work of the two training semesters for Egyptian lawyers who received training courses at the center on the legal profession, human rights and practical aspects of the legal profession, whose number reached 500 male and female lawyers of different levels of registration in the Egyptian Bar Association and they were awarded certificates of appreciation in this celebration.
The celebration also included presenting certificates of appreciation to the gentlemen who carried out the training process, whether senior lawyers or law professors in law schools or professors from other colleges.
The celebration also included honoring the elders and symbols of the legal profession in Egypt from lawyers who struggled to support issues of public rights and freedoms.
Some former judges were also honored for what they offered in the cause of justice and in redressing human rights and basic freedoms.
Many Egyptian legal, diplomatic and media figures participated in this celebration.
The celebration activities began with a speech by the Arab Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal Profession, a speech by the Ambassador of the European Union, a speech by the Ambassador of Denmark and a speech by the Egyptian Bar Association.
