Participation of the Arab Center in the opening session of the twenty-third session of the Assembly of States Parties to the International Criminal Court

Mr. Nasser Amin, Director General of the Arab Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal Profession, is now participating in the opening session of the twenty-third session of the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, from 2 to 7 December 2024 at the Global Forum in The Hague, Netherlands.

International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). IVLP

The Center participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). IVLP is the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program. Through short-term visits to the United States, current and emerging foreign leaders in a variety of fields experience this country firsthand and build lasting relationships with their American counterparts. Participants meet with professional peers and visit U.S. public and private sector organizations relevant to their field of work and professional interests. Your nomination was based on a strong recommendation from the POL for this professional development opportunity in the United States.

Closed Regional Workshop “Areas of Justice” on the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal Profession in Selected Arab Countries

The Center participated in the closed regional workshop entitled “Areas of Justice” on the independence of the judiciary and the legal profession in selected Arab countries, which was held in Casablanca, Morocco on February 1, 2024. The detailed program of the workshop to discuss the issues related to the independence of the judiciary and the legal profession and the challenges of justice in the region after the events of October 7, 2023
